Godil

What is the Godil?

The Godil is a piece of hardware produced by OHO-Elektronik in Germany. Basically it is a FPGA, in my case a XC3S500, some I/O buffers to make it 5V compatible, FlashRAM to store the program plus some goodies.

It has 48+ I/O pins that can be used by the user for his own purposes. From these only 48 are direct usable, the others have more or less some restrictions.
